Jo is fantastic and an absolute perfectionist. Whatever I've been in for (waxing, massages, nails) I come out feeling a million times better. If you're thinking about booking an appointment with Jo, don't hesitate.

I have been coming to Appleonia for almost 30 years: the reason? Jo (owner and manager) is just incredible at what she does; any treatment with Jo will be about as expert as you can get. She always puts health and safety first, but also goes that extra mile to ensure that you are comfortable and confident in her abilities. She will explain in depth what to expect during and after each treatment: for example, I recently had an ear-piercing appointment with her, when she explained what she would be doing, gave me a huge choice of options for studs (super-pretty red diamante on gold!), and took the time to talk me through the after-care and answer my questions. I've had so many treatments from her over the years; mani/pedis, waxing, massage, spray tans and more, and I always leave the salon feeling relaxed, happy and - yes! - beautiful!

I have been coming to Jo for electrolysis for a year now and I’ve never looked back. Best thing I’ve ever done. Initially coming 2-3 times per month and now only once per month. Jo has boosted my confidence and made me feel so much better in myself. Electrolysis is not a quick fix but it definitely has given me amazing results. Can’t recommend Jo enough. She also treated me after major surgery with massages and without her expertise, my recovery would have been much longer and painful. She’s one amazing therapist and always has the clients best interest at the forefront.

Feeling on cloud 9 after an amazing hot stone massage by Jo! Thank you so much for making me feel so relaxed. You really take your time and don't rush and made me feel comfortable and enjoyed all of the massage. it was lovely talking with you too and learning about the history of your shop and how long you have been there! if anyone is looking for a therapist, then visit Jo at Appleonoa Studio! you won't be disappointed!
