The lovely staff here always make me feel welcome and the beauty treatments are great. Even though I've moved to North London I still make the trip down to Anya's every so often because I have yet to find anywhere else with the same quality of treatments, value for money and cheerful friendly staff!
Great place located just 1 minute walk from the station. I have been going to Anya for about 1 year now. I'm normally going for a haircut and always receive great advice from my stylist. Today I tried an hour facial and loved it too. Staff is friendly and provide a great customer experience. They always try their best to be flexible for you and I tend to book my appointments last minute so I really appreciate their efforts and so far they have always found some time for me. This salon is getting popular and there's a good reason for it, they're just doing a great job and they are friendly. I would highly recommend Anya to my friends and so I do now to you dear reader.
I was disappointed with my wax unfortunately. I selected Anya because they use Lycon wax (which in previous salons really does live up to its claim of being nearly pain free). £30 is fairly good value, but unfortunately, whilst the therapist was friendly and professional the wax was much more painful than normal. I'm not convinced the same Lycon skin preparation products were used in advance of the wax. Most importantly when I arrived things seemed manic, I was asked 4 times to give my name/appointment details. I was eventually shown to a fairly dingy room and told to get ready, with no explanation and no towels etc. available to cover myself. Considering I was there for an intimate wax and was in full view of the door which opened straight onto a fairly public hallway it didn't exactly put me at ease.
I had a Brazilian Lycon wax and was impressed by the speed & value of the service. I did notice the therapist re-waxed some areas, which, from my understanding, you shouldn't have to do if it's done properly the first time.
