My facial was ok - thorough extractions and I glowed after but, the ambiance in the treatment room was so so. The aesthetician was playing 90's pop quite loudly in the small room (not the most relaxing thing) and singing along, which may be some people's cup of tea but I found it less than pleasant and didn't make the experience feel very spa-ish. Facial didn't include much work on the neck or decolletage which I've come to expect from good facials - same for any neck or shoulder massage (there wasn't any). When I looked at the products used they seemed really low quality - including face scrubs and washes that had £1 stickers on them - really low grade ingredients that I wouldn't dare to use at home. So all in all way way overpriced procedure.
Pedicure was... a bit ad hoc. Done in a waiting chair near reception with a plastic bowl of cold water to put my feet in. Didn't feel hygenic at all, tools were stuck in a big jar of disinfectant liquid that'd looked like it'd been there for a while - quite gross. Plus really awkward sitting there literally in the window of the shop being stared at by passers by. There was literally nothing to the pedicure but a light scrub (the exact same poundland-esque one used on my face before, lovely), lotion and polish - nothing done to actually clean up/polish my feet. Plus she lotioned my feet and then painted right on top of the greasy nails so polish came off literally within a day. All in all a huge waste of money.
I must say - both the staff were very friendly to me - but during my pedicure the girl doing it kept getting up to go on the computer / chat with the facialist. My facialist left me for '10 minutes' for a mask to dry and was gone for 30, all the while I could hear the staff talking and heating up / eating their lunches while I was sat there. And at one point literally mid-way through pedicure they both left me alone in the shop to go outside and take a smoke break together.
Really really would not recommend.
