I really hate to leave such a poor review on this occasion as I normally have the best experience at Zoraza with Jolanta (it’s my go-to place for a massage). Unfortunately this time I had a different masseuse, an older woman with short hair. I arrived for my deep tissue back massage and firstly wasn’t asked about any areas of tension to focus on, then she put so much oil on my back that it was just dripping off me which meant the massage was essentially her sliding her hands over my back. I wasn’t asked whether the pressure was okay so had to ask her politely to apply more pressure ( i’d specifically booked deep tissue after all!). When I asked I didn’t get a response or any acknowledgement. I’d booked a deep tissue as I wanted to relieve some tension in my back. But my muscles didn’t feel like they were touched at all during the whole 30 minutes. It’s was so light - essentially just stoking my very oily back. And, despite it being a back, neck and shoulder massage my neck wasn’t touched once. I came away feeling like I hadn’t had a massage at all and it felt as if the masseuse didn’t have any training whatsoever. It was a huge disappointment for what is normally a great salon. Wish I hadn’t spent the money!
