Arrived to be told our prepayment value of £50 wouldn't cover the full appointment as the website states "from" but the Salon had all our details and could have communicated this at any time prior to the appointment.
All 3 of us were charged an extra £35 but one of our party's style was far simpler and quicker to complete which seemed inappropriate.

The Updo was lovely, and lasted all day and night. The service was great.
The biggest problem was I paid £50 in advance and only when I got there did they tell me that is was 'from' £50. At this point it is the morning of the event and I am not in my home city, so myself and two friends have no alternatives. There was no warning in advance. I ended up spending £85, £35 extra, which was a nasty shock. I feel someone could have communicated this in advance.

I came to the salon having paid for me 30 minute up do hair treatment. £50
My hair had been washed in the morning.
The hairdresser insisted on washing my hair again, at no time told me of the cost. As I left they took photos of my hair and charged me a further £75.00. I was in the salon for 45 minuets total.
By the time I reached the Hilton (just around the corner) the grips had all slipped and my hair fell out.
Lesson learnt - never have you hair put up on freshly washed hair.
