The whole experience was a little disjointed, I was taken to have my hair washed by one lady and was unsure what was going on as I was expecting to have my hair cut by someone called Adam and another lady came along to cut my hair instead. The hairdresser who cut my hair didn’t see it before it was washed which I thought was a little off because in my experience the hairdresser has always wanted to see my hair type and texture first. I’m happy with my haircut but not sure I’d go back.
It's a nice venue and stuff seemed friendly too! :) One thing about the venue - their bathroom didn't have anywhere to dry hands and were out of soap.
Waxing itself - I've been doing it for almost a decade now, so I don't have a lot of hair that needs waxing and it doesn't hurt as it would on day one. I've never had it done with hot wax and strips - it got quite painful after a while when she kept waxing and going over the same sensitive body parts multiple times. It just got quite sensitive quite quickly, plus some hairs were still left behind.
