This was the worst hair cutting experience I have ever had. Once, a hairdresser put her comb through a piercing in my ear and it wasn’t as bad as this. Once, a hairdresser accidentally razored out a chunk of my hair leaving an inch piece sticking up, and it wasn’t as bad as this. If only the 40 minute wait to be seen was the worst aspect! It wasn’t, I’m not even sure the girl who cut my hair was a qualified hair dresser, it was so bad. I asked at the start if I could still make it out of the salon in time for a lunch reservation. Despite the 40 minute wait, I still had 50 minutes so thought it should be fine and was told it was plenty of time for the hair cut. After the wash, the girl who cut my hair asked if I just wanted the same again, I said yes, it was a bob like Rachel’s from friends. She obviously didn’t hear me and just did what she wanted, and cut all my hair at one length. And she then asked me how I wanted it blow dried, I knew she didn’t have a clue what I’d asked for. I showed her the picture and asked her where the layers were. She said I didn’t have any layers before (not true) and it wasn’t what I asked for (also not true). So she cut in layers, asking really bizarre questions like do you want layers on this side too ( l wanted it to look like the picture and would have thought you would need the layers to be on both sides of your head) and honestly, having gone home and straightened my hair it is the worst hair cut I have ever had. The layers are completely uneven, and I couldn’t check it properly at the salon because by now Ive been in the hairdresser for two hours and had a reservation I was missing, and when she did try to show me the back of the cut, she just didn’t understand that she was holding it in a way that I couldn’t see. Clearly communication was a problem. I can’t believe she just cut my hair when she actually had no idea what I wanted. And then even after showing her a picture, it’s still just a shocking hair cut really. The only pro for this place is the price but seeing as I still need a haircut for it to look decent, it’s a total waste of money
