I really liked most of the staff, the lady who I spoke to at reception was fab and we had a lovely chat as she washed my hair. I really enjoyed Alina too, she was great. The problem was I never had enough time with anyone! It was really obvious that they had overbooked and must have had some VIP client is as most of the staff were disappearing behind a makeshift white curtain put up in the middle of the salon. I could tell Alina wanted to do a good job but she was rushing between me and another woman, I really didn't like this as I felt like an inconvenience and my hair was rushed. I asked for a fringe and while I thought it looked nice at first, she cut it dry so my middle parting separated it immediately and no styling was done to shape the fringe with the rest of my hair. I think I had less than ten minutes cutting time. Part of the experience of going to a hair salon is feeling a bit pampered and I didn't feel relaxed at all as I was passed from pillar to post with multiple different people rushing to take over and finish my hair, it was chaotic and rushed. I've since had my hair fixed at a different salon where they had the time to focus their attention on me and what I wanted so I probably won't be back to Red Angel, please please please if you're overbooked and know you cant do a good job then just ask if the customer wouldn't mind being rebooked to get the full experience!
