Dreadful.
1/ Booked with a specific (and highly reviewed on TW) nail therapist who was at the other venue when I arrived and was apparently unavailable at the time I booked. Which begs the question, why was she listed as available on the app when I booked?
2/ Was seen 15 mins late by a different technician.
3/ The ‘Spa Manicure’ is fully described on the app in detail as any decent manicure would be: hands would be cleaned, cuticles soaked, pushed back, and clipped. Nails would be cut and filed etc. What actually happened is that my nails were cut with tools that had not been cleaned between uses, my cuticles were pushed back without ANY soaking or cuticle remover, and then hacked at by (again) a cuticle nipper that hadn’t been sterilised between uses. Polish application was fine, but if that’s all I wanted, I would have done it myself.
This was absolutely not worth the £20 I had pre-paid using the app. The ONLY reason I didn’t walk out midway through the treatment was because I had already paid and I didn’t trust the establishment to give me a refund.
I booked a Hot Stone Massage, on arrival the stones weren’t ready. The lady who did the massage was not Jyoti it was Viral.
Once she started the massage it was fine for the first 30 mins, after that she asked me shall I massage your head and i said ok. for the last 30 mins she didnt use any stones and i had to tell her to stop massaging my head and concentrate in my arms and shoulders. She did that for 5 mins after which the time was over. I dont think she knew how to do a Hot Stone Massage.
