My nails look really good. I got shellac polish as I like to protect my natural nail from harm as much as possible. I didn’t realise that at this salon they sand down the nail before applying the vanish so that the shellac stays on longer. This means my nail underneath is probably pretty damaged now and will take a few months to grow out healthy again. So just make sure you are aware of this before you go. On the bright side, my new nails will last me a lot longer now.

I booked a full manicure with gel polish but got nothing more than a file and shape with gel. As soon as I walked in I was hit with fumes as there was no ventilation, there was a wide range of colours to choose from but some were £10 extra- too much. I was given terrible customer service and was too busy talking to the other employees. An electric file was used to remove my old gel polish which has resulted in my nails being thin and brittle. I left the salon with damaged nails and a headache.

The service at Amy’s nails was faultless. I have been having my nails done here for months now and it is always on time and done with attention and care and I always come out with exactly what I wanted. Today especially as I was the last appointment of the day and wanted some nail art done which the technician did even though it took us over closing time and she still did it with such care and precision and didn’t rush it at all! My nails look incredible and I can’t wait to come back next month!

I had an awful experience today. The manicure was very rude because I complained about the delay. I’ve never been so mistreated anywhere as I was today. I definitely don't recommend it.
