I've had a massage at Amiika Spa before which I had enjoyed so I had high hopes for the pedicure because it's a nice spa. Unfortunately however I wasn't satisfied. The lady doing the pedicure was a bit heavy-handed with the foot rasp. My feet are quite soft so perhaps she could have assessed them before starting as I ended up with a small cut at the side of my foot, that is how much scrubbing was being done, ouch! That could cause an infection too as it's difficult to know their (or anyones) hygiene standards. The nail polish was not well applied as it went over the nails. Overall, my feet are softer and cuticles neater than they were when I went in, however I would definitely not go back there for the same treatment.
My deep tissue massage at amiika's spa was really good. I was suffering from stiff neck and shoulders and several knots in both sides of the neck. The spa is located in a walking distance from Ravenscourt Park station and has a very chilled environment. Employees were friendly when I arrived. The therapist was also friendly and she Definetly knew what she was doing. She went to all my troubled points, sometimes it was painful but the relief was almost automatic. In the next day I felt sore but my movements were totally free! Definetly a good spot in west London.
