What made me choose Amaani over all other salons available on Wahanda was their description of what they meant by short, medium and long hair. As my hair was quite far below the shoulders but not quite bra strap length I wasn't sure if I was medium or long according to the other salons.
On arrival, I found the place to be very clean and tidy. It's no smaller than your average local salon (with 2 or three chairs and one hair washing sink). Ayesha was very friendly and she knew exactly what treatment I was there for (a cut and blow dry). I think I was her first customer of the day so as she let me settle in she put on some very relaxing music (not some rubbish radio station or pop CD) that immediately made me feel relaxed. After taking my coat and bag she led me to the hair washing sink and washed my hair. One of the things I hate the most about going to the hair dressers is these sinks: they are very uncomfortable on the neck and often leave me with neck pains. However, Ayesha's sink was very comfortable and I actually felt like I didn't have my neck in the crook.
As mentioned above, my hair was medium length, but I wanted to g et my hair cut very short and expressed a wish for it to be above my neck. She looked very surprised about that and I explained how I was sick of it being on my neck and getting me really hot etc. She was understanding and did not try and talk me out of such a radical change (as I have had other hairdressers do in the past). I said I wanted it a bit longer at the front and she happily obliged but before cutting she pointed out that I had a side fringe (A "flick" as she called it) and so this would make it difficult for it to be as long as I wanted it. I then said for her to do what she though best with regards to that.
I liked the no-nonsense style of cutting she had, even if it looked scary to see so much hair chopped off!
She constantly checked my approval on the hair cut and I love the end result.
I will definitely go back, and would definitely recommend her.
I might even try a different treatment!

It is so hard to find someone who can really cut hair well. I was extremely pleased with my haircut with aysha. I also received a lovely neck and shoulder massage. The whole experience in the salon was very good. would highly recommend
I had the microdermabrasion with Aysha this week and thoroughly enjoyed it.The massage that she gave me was also great.
I am planning to go back soon as I don't live far from Aamani.

I had a very reasonably priced shampoo, condition and cut at this pleasant salon convenient to Earlsfield station. The result is lovely and I will return.
