Second visit to the salon and just as good. I had a lovely stylist called Sinead, she asked me how I would like my hair and spent lots of time giving me a lovely blowdry. Just little things that could make the salon spot on such as places for products to be as seems a little untidy but in terms of everything else, all great.
I went to Allertons after reading some of the reviews on Treatwell and Facebook, and thought I'd give it a go since Nicky Clarke in Leeds closed down. It was super lucky I did because my old Nicky Clarke stylist now works at Allertons! It's the best place I've ever been.
A cut and blow dry took 2 hours because my hairdresser was doing someone else's hair at the same time!! After she began asking what I wanted done, I was left for 15 minutes while she carried on with someone else's colour, then she returned to cut the back and then I was left again for 20 minutes while she carried on with someone else's colour, then she came back for a few more snips, and then I was left for another 25 minutes! I was 3 seconds away from drying my hair myself to leave as I had went on my lunch break.
Only I paid beforehand through Treatwell, I would have said something or left. Not once did I get an apology for the waiting and it was obvious that I was not happy and needed to leave.
It was a nice hairdressers and was good value for money - but I won't return unless I have the entire afternoon or day booked off. Very disappointed by this service and how I was treated.
I would have rather have been told "sorry I don't have the time" or "this may take longer" so I could have rebooked for another time. Booking an appointment that states "1 hour" was clearly very off
