Part of the wax was done with strip wax which I did not realise before booking, otherwise I would not have booked. It was super painful. Part of the hot wax wasn't dry before pulling off so pulled at my skin and again was v painful. Would not go back again
I went to Allerton's for a Brazilian Wax.
When I arrived at the venue, I was asked what name the appointment was in and once confirmed I was told to follow the employee to the treatment room. When in the treatment room, after following all her instructions, I lay down and waited for the treatment to begin. The employee proceeded to apply wax all over my bikini area and removed all of the hair in that area. This is known as a Hollywood Wax and not a Brazilian Wax. By the time she had applied the wax it was too late to reverse it and so I was left with a look in my intimate area which I did not want and am very uncomfortable with. When I pointed this out to the employee she told me I had booked a Hollywood and not a Brazilian. When I got home I looked through my emails and found proof that I had indeed ordered a Brazilian and not a Hollywood.
I just find it baffling that at no point none of the employees I dealt with verbally confirmed with me what treatment I'd come in to get. There was plenty of time in which this could have been done and this whole situation could have been avoided.
Will most certainly not be returning.
Allertons is a small salon located in the queens arcade. The staff were quick and efficient when getting me seen to even though their system was not picking up Treat we’ll appointments. I got the dry hair cut for £20 which was great value for money.
