I’m not really one to complain but I’m really annoyed and disappointed at the service I received at Allertons. My boyfriend booked me a full afternoon of treatments starting with a facial, eye brows waxed, manicure and make up done as we were going to watch a show afterwards (as a Christmas present).
The facial started off ok, and the lady gave me a great little introduction. She then explained that she had a cold which was fine and I told her not to worry. However as she started doing the facial she started coughing into her hands (constantly!!) and then rubbing my face without washing them. It was absolutely disgusting.
I have to stress the manicure was great and very professional.
Then I was led downstairs where I’m pretty sure the receptionist gave me a make over. She didn’t seem to know anything about make up or any of the products. I told her I didn’t know much and wanted to learn but I got nothing. My makeup didn’t look professional either. I genuinely thought I looked like a clown and I really wanted to just wash my face. Especially after the facial.
Really not worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
