I was treated to this by my daughter who was also with me. Very impressed with the staff who are friendly and relaxed, nothing is too much trouble and you feel pampered and your needs fully catered to. The atmosphere is professional rather than stuffy and our treatments were delivered in a very efficient manner. Love the tea/coffee and cake combo. It shows that this spa is about pampering and indulgance rather than deprivation and detox. Would love to go again
We were greeted by a friendly and professional therapist who showed us to the lounge and served us a cup of tea. We were then given robes and slippers and shown to a therapy roon upstairs where we were given a lovely hand treatment and then relaxed in comfy loungers with furry blankets. After our hand treatment we had a choice of drink and cake and then carried on with our busy day but having had the benefit of a very relaxing couple of hours. Excellent value
I was really impressed with the atmosphere and staff at Alexandra House. It was fantastic. I was with my mum and sister and we were taken great car of. The treatments were fantastic and we all came away feeling a lot more relaxed. The hot stone massage was wonderful and my mum had an Indian Head massage which she is still talking about. Will will certainly be returning. Thank you
I had a lovely first visit to Alexandra House. The staff are very welcoming and it's a fabulous old house. The whole package was well put together and I certainly came away feeling relaxed. The only slight quibble I would have had was that I was asked in the consultation what music I would prefer to listen to but this was not followed through in the treatment and also, the CD player kept sticking throughout the treatment which spoilt the ambience. However, it was a lovely treatment which would have been great without the audio problem and I would definitely visit again. The whole morning was rounded off nicely with coffee and cake chilling out in their relaxation room. Even got a very interesting reading from the angel cards which are put there for clients' use!
Everything was excellent from start to finish. We started off by changing into a robe and slippers and then had a foot soak and a smoothie. We were then taken for the hot stone therapy massage which was amazing. Following this we relaxed in the relaxation area and were given the praffin wax treatment and another drink and slice of cake. Brilliant :-)
