Had a bit of a mix up when I first booked with treatwell and turned up my appointment didn’t go through and the hairdresser was double booked but they slotted me in the next day. Had highlights, toner and blow dry with Karena! She was so lovely!
Good value for money and students get discount.

Nice salon and ambiance, hair re-styled into lovely bon, very pleased with the hair cut. Caitlin listened to how I would like the cut and added in her suggestions and expertise. However, not a huge fan of the blonde highlights/colour I was given. I was after ashy blonde highlights with a good coverage of brunette roots and to tone down the warmth. Yet, the finished look is very warm/golden/almost ginger on top with visible roots. When I gave this as feedback, I was shown with an item to block the bright light overhead and told, no it’s just the light above that is given that appearance, which I don’t agree with. I booked it on Treatwell and paid for the products before the appointment, but then I was taken to the till and given a price to pay, until I informed them I had already paid! Just slightly awkward for the customer.

It’s always nice to feel like you’re in good hands - at Alchemy I’ve never had to convince a hairdresser or been talked out of what I want. Steven gave me exactly what I was looking for and fixed some ongoing issues with colour. My hair looks and feels great! The complimentary head massage always goes down a treat too!
