Don't really bother to write reviews on sites but I had to on this occasion, had my highlights and a cut and blowdry today at the salon and can I just say im soooo pleased! From the moment I walked in it was great...wasnt keept waiting (like you can in some salons) sarah whom did my colour was lovely and really understood what I wanted .
Then I had a lovely hair wash and a lush head massage, the girl that cut and dried my hair was also lovely and I feel like I have a brilliant style now.
No bad comments to say about them really enjoyed today and Alan Lawrence is now my new salon.
Try them....you will love it too♥
I went to Alan Lawrence in the hope they could revive my hair from its last horrific experience. The salon is tucked away by Hadley Wood station and although you can park outside, there was no space when I got there, so I parked up the road and luckily there was no charges or permit signage.
I got there about 5 mins to early and waited for another 10 before I was gowned up.
I then met my Stylist (Zoe) who talked me through what I wanted done and was then approached by another lady who told me I cant have that as thats not what the voucher was for, I was totally unaware and said, Im happy to go with what Ive paid for and whats on the voucher.
So, my Stylist mixed up the dye and foiled my hair in record time and once it was was all blow dryed and set I was one very happy bunny.
My Stylist not only fixed the awful colour, but gave me lovely golden highlights and a dead straight blow-dry, without straightners too, though I did ask for a few bits to be straightned - Im am so happy that I will definetely go back there to have my highlights done as done as long as I have the same stylist.
My first visit to Alan Lawrence. Easy to find and I parked right outside! Staff were really friendly, cup of tea on arrival which is always guaranteed to win me over. Sarah who put my colour on was lovely and nice to chat to and the lady that washed my hair (sorry I didn't her name) gave me the best hair wash I have ever had. I was also asked if I wanted my feet up on a foot stool for my wash - urrrrmmmmm YES PLEASE! Got a discount on my next visit and will definitely be going back. I loved the atmosphere in there. Not stuffy like some salons can be. Thank you!

My work mate had attend last week using the wahanda offer, I had already on the basis of reviews decided to give this offer a whirl. After seeing my work mates hair and comments, I knew I was on a winner.
Having always having had highlights I had been pushed...into having a full head tint at my current salon...as the hairdresser felt it took too long to have a full head of foils done on my shoulder length hair. Sadly I was not impressed by this pushy manner nor the result. So was looking for somewhere else where the hairdressers ego did not get in the way of how I looked....well after today she is now not my current hairdresser.
Today I visited Alan Lawrence salon, it is a drive for me from Crouch End, but a fabulous green lush drive. I arrived early, and was warmly greeted. After a colour consultation, I was told what I thought I knew, my current colour was not for me nor was a full tint. So commenced the foils, the colourist was funny and swift....
Then comes the deal breaker, your cut, have to say, I have lots of very fine hair, which must be an utter bind to deal with whilst cutting and styling, however my locks looked amazing and full of life and body......
Will certainly be back...warm relaxed environment, and for the first attempt at my hair was a job well done.

Was really really pleased with my appointment here. I'm not that local so was only making the 40 min journey because they had a good special offer on for full head highlights. But will stick with them for now as the highlights and cut were both done very well - and also quickly. I've rarely had both at a hairdressers before! And the staff are nice and all seem well trained. Worth the extra journey
