Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre at Hotel Cafe Royal

Akasha is a stylish urban hotel spa located in the heart of Piccadilly.

Comprised of nine treatment rooms (including the double treatment Akasha Suite), an 18m lap pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi with mood lighting, restorative sounds and uplifting aromas, therapists offer signature massage, body and facial treatments that marry innovative Western practices with ancient Eastern traditions.

Akasha also has a private Hammam for purifying scrubs and massages, a Vichy shower for cleansing hydrotherapy rituals and boasts London's only Watsu pool for tailored hydro-treatments and guided meditation.

The spa's name reflects its vision to harmoniously unite the four basic elements of nature; earth, water, fire and air. The combination is designed to create a transformational and balancing experience where clients leave with their bodies, minds and souls aligned.

We had a fantastic day, made perfect by the the most delightful staff. The spa facilities are good; the pool great. A very relaxing day.

We had a lovely lunch and a glass of champagne.

Stunning spa but it lacks facilities apart from the ones you would normally find elsewhere (sauna, steaming room, pool, jacuzzi)

Lovely pool and facilities. However there is no lounge area and lunch was basically served in reception. They need a proper lounge/tea area to turn this 5 star. The sodashi body bliss was excellent

Came here for a girls' day out treat after Christmas and it was perfect. All the treatments were excellent and we loved the facilities - particularly the jacuzzi! The focus massage was heavenly and it was the first time I've ever been to a spa without the staff trying to sell me anything, which I really liked. I would come back here everyday if I could!

CAREFUL PEOPLE! What kind of a scam is this? It says you get 47% discount but on the actual website of the spa it even cheaper! 145£ while here with "discount" its 150£! Never coming back to this website! http://www.hotelcaferoyal.com/offers-and-packages/akasha-spa-offers/week-day-escape/

Very serene spa with lovely pool. The treatments we had were wonderful. Felt a teeny bit minimul - needed more softness. Very clean
Thank you.

I have experienced this package and was pleased with the spa and the treatments, however, very unfortunately, I have suffered a food poisoning after ordering raw seafood dish for the lunch that was included in the package. I was deeply disappointed by this incident. What was meant to be a rejuvenating experience turned into several days in pain and what I found even more upsetting was the fact that the hotel didn't wish to take responsibility for my awful experience and didn't even consider a refund. Would absolutely not think of coming back or recommending this place to people I know.

Just what we were looking for, great place and service. Both treatments were amazing. The food there was also good. Slight shame that the hammam was not working on the day we went there.
