Gorgeous spa which is one of the only truly tranquil places I have found in London. I recommend the 1 hour 25 minute custom massage it was perfect and the therapist was great. Use the steam room beforehand for an extra treat!
One of the best spas in London. I arrived early to use the beautiful steam room and bathrooms and chill out in the tranquil white lounge area. The facial was wonderful and the therapist tailored to my needs. Would come back again and again!
Agua Spa at the Sanderson Hotel is a genuinely relaxing experience in the heart of London. Entirely otherworldly, with its floor-to-ceiling silk partitions and politely observed policy of respectful quietness throughout, I had to return again to check it hadn't all been a dream. This is going to the top of my list for genuinely indulgent treats - and for expert skin care advice, of course.
Parts of the Eve Lom facial treatment were quite challenging for me this time - namely being left alone in the quiet, white room for 15 minutes - but only because there was no sensation to distract from my frantic mind! If you are already enlightened or at least familiar with mindfulness or meditation - or think 15 minutes of being left entirely alone in the peaceful quiet sounds perfect - then you'll definitely fare better.
I have now seen two different facial therapists and both were clearly knowledgeable and able to advise minor changes to my regime that have had a noticeable difference to my skin. They were also not necessarily beholden to promoting specific products, which meant I intrinsically trusted their advice more.
I wouldn't hesitate to go back as often as possible and will certainly be advising friends to give this spa serious consideration. No doubt I'll see you there - or not - as they're very good at making you feel like you're the only person there.
I bought this as a gift for my mother and she really enjoyed the experience. The spa ambience was to die for - really lush and relaxing. A little pricey but worth it - my mom loved the results!

I can't fault Agua Spa; it was simply an amazing (if slightly surreal) experience. Perhaps this is because I'm not familiar with luxury spa experiences, but prepare to give yourself up to another world. The treatment is just one part if the experience, and if you can afford to treat yourself to this, I'd recommend it to anyone. The staff were lovely, and I didn't feel unwelcome or "unworthy" at any point. The treatment itself was carried out by an experienced facialist and was very relaxing. The results were visible, but principally for being so calming and relaxing. I would visit again, without hesitation.
