Pregnancy Massage

Several separate issues made it quite difficult to rate this. Booked a couples aromatherapy massage for my wife and I.
Ambience - generally would have been rated higher but received lower rating because the relaxing experience hoped for was compromised by:
1. when we arrived for our massage at the booked time there was only only one therapist available and we were therefore unable to both have a massage.
2. Having rearranged to have the massage the next day, we arrived a few minutes before our booking time as advised. We waited nearly 10 minutes for the door to be answered despite repeatedly ringing the door bell and also trying to call the clinic number (went to a call centre) which was made worse by the fact that it had started raining and there was no cover/shelter by the door.
2. Staff - both therapists we met were very pleasant and polite.
My massage was very good - the therapist (Rebecca, I think) focussed on my back and shoulder issues as requested on my pre-treatment questionnaire and I came away from it feeling I had benefitted.
However, my wife felt her massage was one of the worst that she has had to date - she did not feel the therapist was particularly effective/knowledgable; did not give any attention to the requested back/neck areas; left her uncovered/cold when she had to step out due to needing to clear an irritating cough (which is obviously not within a person's control); returned to continue the massage with cold hands.
Having booked the treatment to help my wife relax during a stressful time, it defeated the object when my wife came away more stressed/irritated than when we arrived...
Although the booking issues relate to Treatwell/Affable Treatments system, and in no way to the therapists, combined with my wife's poor massage experience, this was a thoroughly disappointing experience
