The booking was problematic as the price online was wrong and the salon contacted me that morning to advise of this. Unfortunately this made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. However, the management honoured the quoted price and the massage itself and therapist were lovely.
Very efficient and friendly
It was really good. I think there should have been music or something playing as it was too quiet, it made me feel like I had to talk. Everything else was spot on!
Really lovely experience. Friendly staff and a good selection of colours.
Bit disappointed really. I had a full face threading and with it being in the same building as Toni and Guy and with relatively higher prices, I was expecting a better experience. It seems Toni & Guy just have a spare room in their basement which they loan out to a separate company which does beauty treatments. It looks like sometimes the staff don't even use the separate room, which means you're getting your eyebrows done in the same place as a bunch of kids getting their hair cut. I guess this is fine if you don't mind it, but for me, the reason why I pay extra to get them done at a salon rather than at the back of Superdrug is I'd rather have the privacy as I get a bit embarrassed when I'm having my eyebrows done! The threading itself seemed fine at the time, if a little overexuberant with my eyebrows, although I spent the treatment looking at a rather dirty fan on the ceiling. However, when I got home I noticed she had missed a number of hairs, particularly around the ends of the eyebrows. My hairline was also noticeably uneven. The beauty therapist also made a number of comments about my eyebrows, like they were 'too close to my eyes' and 'uneven', which was unnecessary, I think. You can cut someone's hair without complaining about their present style and I don't feel eyebrow threading should be different.
