I think I had bad luck with the therapist because the wax got completely stuck on for 10minutes, an uncomfortable treatment.

I instantly felt that the therapist was not comfortable with the treatment which instantly made me feel uncomfortable. I have had waxes before and they are painful but I feel it is important for the client to be made to feel relaxed and comfortable to deal with the pain and the overall treatment. There was lack of instruction coming from the therapist. The treatment is dealing with a very intimate area so it is important to be made to feel comfortable and at ease. I left feeling rather dissapointed and upset.

Terrible experience. I’ve used this salon before, but this time had a different member of staff. I asked for a Brazilian and she didn’t seem to know how to do that. She kept layering lots of wax on and then tried to remove it before it was set, so was essentially yanking the hair out. I’ve been getting waxed for 20+ years and this was probably one of the most painful experiences I’ve had. She completely messed it up and I had to ask for the manager to come and fix it as I had no confidence by that point that she knew what she was doing. In the end the manager had to give me a Hollywood as the employee had basically waxed off the landing strip (but bizarrely thought it was ok to leave the rest of the hair in place!). As the manager had to leave her client to assist me she did a very quick job so it wasn’t clean and tidy and there were still lots of little hairs left. Very disappointed, especially as I was still expected to pay full price for their mistake. I’ve also been left with a Hollywood which I don’t like. I won’t be using this place again.
