Staff were friendly but the wax wasn’t the best I’ve had. I booked a Hollywood wax but wasn’t given the option of having hot wax so it was more painful than usual. I also had some hair left but wasn’t given the option to check if I was happy before she finished.

My treatment was really awful, even though the people working in there were - to be fair - perfectly polite. But it was done in 15 minutes instead of 30, bruising, no paper put down on the bed, no different size waxing strips (which doesn’t matter if you feel in careful hands, but I’ve had so many great beauticians pride themselves in perfecting a really thorough and painless as possible wax using different sizes and techniques), no offer of any other area than the bikini landing strip - even though it was a Brazilian (but by that time I was just ready to leave). And lots of hairs missed. All in all the most traumatic wax I’ve had. Will be booking in advance and happily paying £15 more to return to the other clinics I’ve booked through treatwell in the past! I felt like a slab of meat.
