Visited Adorn in Uxbridge as my usual beauty salon was overbooked. Was greeted by a cluttered and messy reception and was barely acknowledged until the desk was entirely empty, asked for a side face wax and was told to sit. Eventually I was asked very abruptly to sit on the first chair visible (unheard of as usually waxing customers are given at least some privacy!) I sat down and the woman was extremely rude, didn't speak, and I felt like I was more of a liability than a paying customer. No surgical spirit put on my face prior to the waxing which has resulted in my skin going very red. No gloves, EXTREMELY unhygienic utensils (wax exposed for God knows how long, no gloves when touching my face). She did one small strip each and asked if that was alright, was handed a dirty mirror and I told her there was still some left to do, and she became even more dismissive and rude. Cannot stress how uncomfortable I was made to feel, staff afterwards were giving me shade as if I'd slapped the stylist in the face by asking her to do more work. Dreadful, unhygienic, rude. Avoid.

Loved the pampering I received, in such stylish surroundings. I had waxing, eyebrow and eyelash treatment, followed by manicure, pedicure and facial on the second visit. In terms of beauty parlours, this is Uxbridge's hidden gem.
