Salon has a great location. I left feeling great, but when I saw myself in the mirror and had a proper look I was so upset. I shared photos of darker balayages as inspo that the hairdresser was not interested in seeing (should have been the first flag) and I came out looking like had full head of bleached highlights (much higher up). I was looking for a balayage to ‘stretch’ the dark blonde and natural hair at the top of my head further, and to have a ‘professional’ blend previous highlights and softly blend the hair from root to tip. Ended up with bleached hair at top I know will go brassy, and thick darkened inch strip of hair by roots? Not what I think of as a balayage? Will tone and dye it myself at home, just annoying as I spent a lot of time and money and had high hopes given the reviews.
