I had booked a Hollywood wax at an agreed price, and when I arrived was offered a hot wax or a strip wax, with the benefits of each outlined. What wasn’t mentioned was that the hot wax was £5 more expensive, which I only discovered at payment. The service was great and I probably would have still opted for the hot wax, but it didn’t feel transparent to only find out cost difference at payment.
