I first visited Reinu in February 2018 and she was so amazing that I vowed I’d be back asap. But I didn’t manage to return until 5 months later and pregnant with my first child. I’d had a few problems with my pregnancy like leg cramps and headaches so I felt like it was a good time to treat myself to a massage as I also had a niggling knot in my left shoulder.
Reinu gave me a Hydrotherm massage which was suitable for pregnancy and it involved me lying on my back with a heated water mat underneath me. It was a really hot day but she has air conditioning in the room so I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.
I was a bit dubious about how she would be able to reach all the areas of my back to properly massage them, but I needn’t have worried as she is such an expert! It did help that I was completely naked so that any underwear couldn’t interfere. She completely eliminated the knot in my left shoulder and found one in my right shoulder that I hadn’t realised was there and which was actually worse.
This was another full body massage and she went back over the areas which needed the most attention, so I left feeling completely transformed. When I’ve had massages from other people in the past I’ve felt like they’ve missed bits or not spent enough time on the areas that were troubling me.
I really hope to return again before my baby arrives as I’m sure there won’t be any time for massages for a while!
Note: I did consult my doctor before having the massage as per Reinu’s suggestion.
What first started as a massage-customer-relationship has grown over the last 4 years into a deep friendship. I don’t know what I would do without Reinu in my life! She has a deep understanding for my muscles and is also full of wisdom. Xxx
