Not sensitive to noise so room and ambience was good. There was background noise from steps above as room was in the basement but didn’t bother me.
Massage therapist was great and definitely helped with my immediate tense shoulders and upper back.
Not sure as it was my first visit but the massage therapist wasn’t as experienced in less common areas eg sciatica, wrist tendinitis which I suffer from. I guess it’s acceptable as it is not a sports massage.
I had a 60 minute full body massage. Some of my massage and the stretches at the end was new to me (I've only had classic back massages before) but my masseuse was really good. She used tiger balm, which is great. I felt extremely relaxed afterwards and most of the shoulder and back pain that I had been experiencing for a couple of days had gone. 99 Thai Massage is in a small cosy basement venue beneath a cafe. I could hear people walking around upstairs but it wasn't too noisy.
I had a great sports massage for my sore back and shoulders, it has really loosened my tense muscles. The room was plenty warm enough, comfortable table - it is not a luxurious experience but very functional. In a busy location there is background noise so I would not choose this for a relaxing massage, but for what I wanted it was great!
