The masseuse was ill. There was even a scrunched up tissue in the room and it looked like someone had sneezed into it and left it there... There was also a lot of talking between the masseuse and another woman who worked at the front desk during my massage. The door would open in the middle of my massage and they would talk openly! This did not keep the warm air in the room and it was very noisy from the corridor (even when the door was closed). Not the best experience I've had when it comes to a massage. This is the first time I've been to 7 Day Spa. Hopefully this particular experience was a one-off and others have a better experience than I did!
The ladies were very friendly and accommodating. I love the scented smell of the room and the relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the foot scrub and the nail application was well done. However the wax treatment was better the first time I visited; they filled my whole feet in paraffin wax but this time they only did a quarter of it and didn’t even fully cover them (heels were the most dry). The appointment ran over 45 minutes and my feet was left frozen due to the air dryer. To give the place a more warm feeling, I would advise turning the heat up in the room. Also, I felt that the lady who painted my toenails, was rushed. The good thing was that my feet felt soft and pampered.
I was waxed by someone different to my requested person and was not told beforehand. Although the person who ended up doing my wax was okay, they were a bit rushed, which made for a rather uncomfortable wax compared to my usual visits.
