When I arrived the door was locked and I had to call Treatwell to sort. The receptionist had apparently been downstairs but I was waiting quite some time so this felt odd. Was taken downstairs to a room that apparently isn’t used very much. The waxing bed had thick yellowed plastic on that i tried not to think about but grossed me out. Apparently because the room isn’t used very often, the wax heating pot was a bit broken and as a result way overheated. The waxist turned the pot off and we waited ages but even then could not get the wax to cool down. The result was scalding hot wax. Luckily that took away from some of the pain of the hair removal? Absolutely would not return, worst waxing experience I have had in London.
Not the best massage i've had in terms of easing muscle tension but very relaxing. I think there was a bit of confusion over the meaning of 'firm' but next time I will say 'hard'!
