I had booked my haircut via Treatwell and received confirmation, upon arriving to the salon first impressions, it looks nothing like the pictures advertised! The place was a salon split in 2 with a wooden partition, one as barbers and other as ladies hair salon. Due to the nature of the partition there was what appeared to be shared access room at the back, I am a hijabi and questionedthe privacy factor as I did not want other men seeing my hair, I was reassured they had screening to help. The hairdressers had no clue I had an appointment, they asked if I would wait 20 mins as they had clients at the chairs, which I reluctantly did. 20 mins soon turned into an hour, by this point I was becoming frustrated. I kept asking for a refund but was pushed into waiting longer. Finally I was seen after an hour. The 'privacy screen' was barely there, if my right side was covered by the screen someone can see the left side and vicer versa! At one point of the guys walked out of the shared access from the back and most likely would have seen my hair!!! Further as soon as Eisha started washing my hair, she told me this will cost you £10 more due to the length of the hair, which I questioned as there was no option at time of booking to add different lenghts of hair and surely I should have been asked before my hair wash started! Reluctantly we came to an agreement and I paid an extra £5 given my lengthy wait time. Whilst having my treatment, both the hair dressers were trying their level best, almost sounding desperate to upsell me a hair oil. I told them my hair loss was due to vitamin deficiency and I was currently on treatment however Eisha was persistent I try this. I told her I would think about it. The hair cut was basic straight cut and done neatly enough hence the 2 stars. Me giving 2 stars in very generous after my experience here.
