What is the Dermalogica ProSkin Advanced treatment?
It’s a facial – but, like, a really good one. According to Hannah, the most effective technology suited for your skin will be selected on the day, from hydradermabrasion to improve tone and texture to LED light therapy to brighten and boost collagen. Plus, deep cleansing with active ingredients (the good stuff), and loads of relaxing stuff too – think facial massage, deep breathing and hot towels. Oh, and it’s 60-minutes long (the perfect time to decompress).
What happens during the treatment?
One of the (many) good things about the ProSkin Advanced facial is that it’s fully personalised to you. “At the beginning of your appointment, you’ll have a consultation to talk about your skin and your at-home routine,” Hannah explains, “your therapist will then customise the treatment to target your skin concerns”. Tailoring the products and technologies (fancy) means the results are amplified.
So, does it work for all skin types?
It sure does (we told you it’s good). Hannah agrees, “because it’s completely customised, it’s suitable for all skin types” – soothing sensitivity, purifying oily and nourishing dry skin. “If there are any steps we can’t do – say, the skin is too sensitive – we can adapt the treatment to maximise skin benefit”.
What’s will my skin look like afterwards?
In short, glowing – need we say more? “Your skin will be visibly smoother, brighter and more hydrated,” Hannah explains, “but more importantly, your main skin concerns will have been addressed and you’ll be equipped with the professional advice on how to continue targeting these at home”.
Will my appointment be safe?
“Absolutely,” Hannah confirms, “your safety is our number one priority”. Dermalogica therapists have been trained and are Dermalogica Clean Touch Certified. “Before your appointment, you’ll get a call to run through some Covid-19 screening questions then, upon arrival, you’ll be talked through the advanced safety protocols we’re taking to ensure it’s a ‘Clean Touch’ environment”.
