The impact COVID-19 has had on our industry has is huge, with so many businesses and individuals thrown into unexpected circumstances. Now more than ever, we want to make sure the creative, passionate and skilled professionals within the industry have access to the opportunities they deserve.
The British Beauty Council reports that the hair and beauty service sector is home to over 150,000 people, with 1 out of every 60 people in the UK employed in the beauty industry.
But despite the high employment numbers, research shows that recruitment and team-building fall into one of the top trends for the industry. Salon owners and managers reported that finding candidates with the skills and qualifications they need — and is a good personal fit for the team — is challenging.
