Lovely therapist and a really good Keratin blow dry treatment. Having just washed my hair for the first time since the treatment Im so happy with the results and would definitely go to Gregory's again for this treatment.
Absolutely disgusted by this experience, the worst I have ever had via Wahanda.
Booked my initial consultation which was cancelled at short notice owing to staff sickness (so I was told) rearranged and went for the health screening. Had my results emailed to me 3 days later.
I contacted to arrange my follow up consultation, when booking I pointed out that the chosen day was a bank holiday but the person I spoke to said this was fine. Then yet again my appointment was cancelled at short notice as apparently they had realised they weren't open on bank holidays.
Rearranged the appointment for today, received a text this morning to say that my appointment was cancelled owing to staff sickness!! Unbelievable - the third cancellation!
Galen must employ very unhealthy staff, at my work if someone goes sick we have provision to cover them. Not at Galen.
I can't be bothered rearranging for a third time, my time is precious and I am sick and tired of having to arranging my life around appointments which are then cancelled. Overall a waste of money, I could have done these tests at home for a lot less money and a lot less hassle.
I would advise anyone to stay well clear, why anyone would sign up with Galen I don't know, if you were ill and needed to see someone you would probably be dead by the time you could get an appointment with them. Ill stick with the NHS.
Not a great experience and not one I would repeat. To start with booking the treatments was a farce, I left phone messages and sent an email to book and no one ever got back to me. On my 7th time of ringing I actually got through to real life person rather than an answering machine and booked my treatment.
The salon is central but situated under Electric Beach tanning salon so not the easiest to find as I couldn't see any signage. The receptionist wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming.
The therapist was lovely and I was happy with the treatment as she listened to what I wanted. However the treatment room was very small, basic and hot and not somewhere you would want to spend more time than you had to.
Overall I wouldn't go back to Immaqulate, the problems with booking and the treatment room have put me off.
I used the Wahanda voucher for a Dermalogica facial with an eyebrow shape.
Compton is easy to find near Covent Garden, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. I was offered a drink while I waited for my therapist and the atmosphere was relaxed and not intimidating like some West End salons.
The beauty salon is downstairs from the hair salon, the treatment room was pleasant and adequate, if not one of the most luxurious I have been in. The only criticism I would have is that the CD player kept jamming which slightly detracted from the relaxing treatment!
The therapist was great, she did a wonderful eyebrow shape and the Dermalogica facial was one of the best I have had - and I have had many Dermalogica facials at various salons. She explained what she was doing and was friendly and pleasant. She also gave me some samples of the products used. The experience was relaxing and my skin felt great afterwards.
I would definitely recommend this venue.
Floatopia is tucked away in a convenient location just behind Chiswick High Road. As this was my first Wahana experience I was worried that I would be treated less well than a customer who had paid the full price but this was not the case at all. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, the spa is very clean and the float was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend a float although to get the the best from them its probably best to have a course of floats (which I have done in the past)
Overall for me this was a wonderful introduction to Wahanda.
