Great Salon, clean, modern with great massage chairs while you have your hair cut, trendy cups for hot drinks and a cool vibe about it.
My hairdresser was friendly, polite, knowledgable and an overall pleasure !
The staff were lovely and friendly. The salon clean and well laid out. The treatment was average - had a massage - the therapist although very pleasant and wanting to do a good job, didn't appear too experienced, and did a lot of repetative, hard thumb rubbing in one place. Other than that, was lovely and relaxing. Convenient location, so would go back again.
I was kept waiitng nearly half an hour as the customer before had asked for a repain of her nails (as she had decidied she didn't like the colour) so I was expected to just sit and wait (25 min+)
Once in the room, the ambience was lovely - nice music, smells, etc....
Treatment was great - good quality products. The therapist even gave me a few samples to try.
Left glowing !!
Really great session - it was just my friend and I so felt like a Personal Training session. The class only lasts 15-20 mins, but we ahced for days after !
The Trainer personalised our exercises to fit what we wanted to achieve, explained the moves well and kept us motivated throughout (although short, it is surprisingly tiring !)
There were no changing room facilities as such so had to change behind the lockers in the main room, but apart from that the room was bright and well ventilated despite being in the basement.
A modest salon just off the main road. The decor was simple, cluttered but clean enough (if a little old)
The treatment room was nice, smelled good and was clean. The therapist was lovely, chatty with a lovely soothing voice, advice and tips about products and treatments. The wax was ok, but grew back very quickly. Also established that the "chocolate" wax althoguh looks and smells chocolately is a bit of a novely and had no other benefits ! Ok, neither bad nor great.
A little salon within easy access of public transport. Modest looking from the outside, and small but clean inside. My therapist was absolutely lovely; chatty, telling me about products used and benefits and had a really calming personality. I had a Chocolate wax, which smelt good and was like a regular wax. Results didn;t last particularly long. Would recommend Bibas.
Was booked in for a 1 hour massage and hot cupping. The massage lasted about 40 mins, then 20mins cupping, so the whole process was 1 hour. The place had little cubicles shut with curtains. Was told to strip to just knickers, and was left sitting on a bed in semi dark for a while with no cover, and feeling a little exposed ! I am pleased to report that the actual massage was really very good, with the therapost checking for pressure and trouble areas etc...Did feel like I was being sold to quiute a bit overall. With a consultation before and after treatment, was first told I would benefit from upgrading to a deep tissue massage for £10, then on way ou was told I have wonky vertebrae and was recommended a £50 treatment session to correct it ! Left feeling relaxed, bruised (from the cupping) and a little bit duped. Place was clean though, and good value for money.

A brilliant introduction to Pilates in a lovely bright, clean environment, and with a great instructor who was patient and clear in her instructions of using the complicated machinary. An all over body workout, although maybe a bit pricey to do on a regularly basis.
VERY disappointing experience. Had booked in for myself and my sister to have Luxury manicures to celebrate her engagement. Our appointment was cancelled TWICE as they were not going to have 2 therapists in to do the treatments at the same time. 3 weeks later we finally went for our appointments, and were really surprised to see that they only actually had ONE manicure station anyway....I therefore had to have my £50 "luxury" manicure sat in a haircutting chair, with no table and a moulting towel on my lap, with my nails painted whilst dangling in the air. The bowl to soak nails in wasn't actually big enough to fit my hand in, and the only "luxurious" element was a hand mask and heated mits, which was nice, except my sister had her hands in the FOOT mits (disgusting !) Cuticles pushed back, and nails painted, but no tidying of cuticles, buffing of nails etc...effectively, I paid £25 each (50% off) to have our nails painted ! On top of this, the beautician made a scene, accusing me of not having done something or other, and when she couldn't find my booking details, forced me to reveal how much I had paid for this gift, what the discount was etc...in front of the person it was for !! On the plus side, we were offered a glass of wine on arrival, and the actual salon looked OK. DEFINATELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - feel completely ripped off.
