Ross was my hairdresser and was lovely - very welcoming and I had a good consultation. I am happy with my hair cut but it's a lot shorter than we discussed so was a shock at the time. Having said that, it's a very good cut and Ross also took the time to show me styling tips which I've never had before at other salons.
Good value for money - we didn't really have much pool time as we preferred to sit and chill in the relaxation room. Nice lunch although felt a bit conscious walking through main restaurant in our robes and slippers! For £70 I thought it was good value baring in mind the cost of a treatment alone is £60 ish
Had to change my appointment time, which was no problem and done as soon as I asked. Lysette was very welcoming and friendly.
I had classic red - perhaps constructive feedback would get a few more colours to choose from although they covered light and dark shades.
Very happy with the nails.
I had a Orly Gel Polish Hands or Feet and have awarded it 5 stars.
I've only had one treatment in six, but I found the patch test and first appointment easy to book, getting an appointment very quickly. The therapist was very knowledgable and made me feel comfortable in that she new what she was doing and I was going to get a good result.
Hopefully the six laser treatments will be a success, but that's down to my hair not the treatment!
I've visited At One Day Spa several times and have always really liked it there. This time around I was late as stuck in severe traffic - which I rang several times and kept them fully informed of (it was quite stressful being stuck on the M6 with 30 mins to go only several miles away but in gridlocked traffic!)
I asked whether it was worth trying to rearrange as I knew I would be late if not make it at all - they said not possible. Understandable yet annoying as it was out of my control being stuff on the M6.
Anyway I got there 15/16 Mins after my appointment was due to start in a real flap.
The staff were very welcoming as normal, and I got taken to my treatment room.
The Bacial its self was really nice and relaxing however it was cut down to 30 mins - my fault as I was late but it was a shock and I felt that I didn't get the full treatment. And it hadn't been fully explained to me, I knew that the next appointment after me was at 5.30pm so I expected my treatment to finish at 5.15pm not 5pm.
Anyway, it wouldn't stop me from going there again and I do understand they have a business to run, I'm just being honest that it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth which is a shame.
I absolutely loved my visit to At One Day Spa - a gem in the middle of the city centre!
My therapist was exceptional, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have found sometimes when you purchase a voucher for a treatment you don't get the best service or experience the full treatment but this was definitely not the case with my visit to At One Day Spa.
The environment was nice and relaxed, and the smell reminded me of a holiday I took in Bali (in a good way!) The room for my treatment was really nice.
I was given advice for at home care and did purchase some products but didn't feel like I was held to ransom to do so.
I definitely recommend At One Day Spa, and can't wait to go back!
