I got a voucher and went for a 2 for 1 spa day with my friend where we had 75 min facials / arm massage.

First of all it must be noted that this place is not really a 'spa', as you would usually think of one. We waited in seats in a hall for out treatments, with kids running around going to the pool, hotel guests getting lost, and businesspeople going to the gym. The pool, sauna and steam room are nice, but the whole thing has a local swimming pool feel, not a indulgence for the senses.

The facial however was lovely, and the therapist was nice. The range of products they have is fabulous and they didn't try to sell me anything. I've only had a couple of facials (I'm more of a massage person) so I don't have a great deal of experience to compare it to, but I really enjoyed it and I was totally relaxed and happy by it all.

The arm and hand massage was a bit odd but again, very relaxing.

Pros: Good price. Nice therapist. Good range of products, not 'one-size-fits-all'. No hard sell. Nice, but small, steam room / pool / jacuzzi area.

Cons: Really cold in my therapy room. When my therapist wasn't massaging me, I was getting goose pimples. Changing rooms are very utilitarian, not luxurious at all.

Overall I'd be happy to go again but I'd prefer to try somewhere else first.

The hairdresser was lovely, but to be honest I wasn't massively impressed. To be fair you get what you pay for, and the hair cut and colour was extremely reasonably. However that means the level of luxury wasn't exactly high, and you can't really expect luxury for £17.50. The cut was fine, not exactly what I was after but fine, and the staff were really nice.

Lovely staff, and reasonably priced, but the only challenge was is that my lashes weren't as curly or as even as I would have liked. I wasn't consultated with as to to what 'look' I was going for (eg natural curl, dramatic look etc.) and if asked I would have wanted something far more dramatic, darker dye and exaggerated curl, but I was happy with the results regardless.

I'm wary of reviewing this as I want to keep it all to myself! But as it was originally recommended to me by my friend, I thought I'd share the love.

I go to Rozi for my eyebrow threading and sometimes my upper lip too. She has revolutionised my eyebrow shape! I admired my friends as hers were so sharp and defined, and I thought mine could never be like that, but Rozi has worked wonders! If you don't want them so 'done', you may have to ask, but I love the clean, smooth lines that she creates.

Before this I used to go the Vaishaly Patel in Maryelbone as it's close to my house and lovely. Rozi's may not be as chic, but it's less than a quarter of the price, and when it comes down to it they both do a really good job.

When I go away on business and can't get my eyebrows done for a month or two, I try to do them myself, but I always end up running back to Rozi begging her to restore them. How do they make them so defined? What a skill. Much to recommend.

The place is tiny but apparently they were forced to relocate at short notice and will be finding somewhere more suitable. It's also quite hard to find, so phone in advance.

More importantly however the Powerplate sessions kicked my arse! They were the hardest I've done, which is exactly what I wanted. The trainer was perfect, he was really attentive to ensure you didn't hurt yourself, but unrelenting (which is good for lazy folks like me!) Really glad I found this place, half an hour well spent! Much to recommend.

We went there after purchasing a deal from Wahanda. I didn't check the voucher in advance to see what we should be getting, and it was only afterwards we realised that we were supposed to have had a floral foot bath for 15 minutes and refreshments on arrival! Instead we were just ushered into the spa.
First off we went to the steam room, which wasn't really a treatment as such but just a steam room really. It's certainly very pretty, but a bit hard to recline and relax. At one point the steam went off and when we went to find someone, we were told it was fine, despite the fact we were sitting there in the clean, cold air! However the problem was soon fixed, and the steam was extremely hot and pleasant. After half an hour, the lovely therapist asked us if we wanted our treatments.
Having booked aromatherapy massages, and reminded them when we went in, both my friend and myself ended up receiving Thai massages! I think there is a few communication issues at this place, as the staff were authentically Thai! However if this had been a problem I would've kicked up a fuss, but as it was both of us were happy enough to get Thai massages.
It was my first Thai massage and it was amazing! Not exactly relaxing, but certainly effective! The therapist was great, he really made me feel at ease! It was a great experience, on a big bed with floaty music and candlelight.
We then went and sat in the relaxation area, with a nice cup of tea. This was also great, as the surroundings (decor, smell etc) are lovely. The staff were super friendly and smiley, so although the whole experience didn't exactly go to plan, I would still recommend it regardless!
