Soprano Laser Hair Removal description

Exasperated by epilating? Through with threading? Riled by razors? Before you give up and decide to spend the rest of your days looking like a Yeti, why not try Soprano laser hair removal. Painless, safe and effective, this treatment will get you super smooth in no time – good news if you hate being hirsute.

How does it work?

Treatment time for Soprano hair removal varies depending on the area in question. Facial hair removal can take as little as 10 minutes, while having both legs done usually takes 1-2 hours.

The Soprano treatment works by using pulses of laser energy to heat the hair follicles, preventing them from producing new hair. It’s a gradual process, so you shouldn’t expect magical results overnight – but after a few treatments you’ll start to see the fuzz vanish. Hooray!

It’s important not to apply deodorant or perfumed products on the day of treatment. We’re sorry, but for this one day you’re just going to have to deal with smelling less fragrant than usual.

Is it for me?

It’s important to avoid tanning for a month before undergoing Soprano hair removal, as well as during the treatment period. It’s also advisable to avoid strong sunlight for four or five days after treatment has finished – so if you’re a sun-worshipper this might not be the solution for you.

Soprano laser hair removal is not suitable for pregnant women or those with certain medical conditions. If you have any of the following problems then you should give this treatment a miss:

  • Previous history of cancer, in particular skin cancer
  • A condition that requires photosensitive medication or blood thinners
  • Active Herpes Simplex (cold sores) in treatment area
  • History of Keloid scarring (overproduction of scar tissue)
  • Insulin Dependent Diabetes
  • Very fragile or dry skin
  • Epilepsy

Good to know

The skin of some patients may become red after treatment, occasionally blistering. However, the majority of people don’t experience any side effects at all.
