How does it work?
A shamanic healing session lasts approximately two hours, during which you’ll remain fully clothed. At the beginning of a shamanic healing session your therapist or shaman will spend time discussing the healing process with you and finding out what it is you hope to gain from the experience. Following this, all you have to do is lie down and let the shaman take charge.
Shamans claim to track down any parts of the soul that have taken refuge in other worlds, and to heal these before encouraging them to return with their positive qualities. This restores power and vitality to the client and allows them to move forward with confidence.
During a session the practitioner may make use of items such as drums, rattles, feathers and incense, and may also sing or chant to aid the healing process – so don’t be alarmed if it turns out to be entertaining, it’s all part of the fun!
