How does it work?
At the beginning of the treatment, your therapist will apply two small electrodes to the body, which are then connected to a special generator. This generator then produces low voltage electrical fields, which travel through the body, activating positive and negative ions. The movement of these ions helps to rebalance the polarity of the cellular membrane, and to detoxify the organs. Sounds like it’s time to show those toxins who’s boss...
During ionocinesis, all you have to do is lie down, relax and let the electricity work its magic. At the end of the session, you’ll be able to see the toxins eliminated – leaving you with a sense of emotional wellbeing as well as physical health.
Is it for me?
Ionocinesis is said to be able to help with certain chronic conditions, such as:
Weight management and cellulite reduction Digestive disorders, gastric or intestinal pain, colitis Liver diseases, viral hepatitis Gall bladder disease Kidney stones Rheumatism Arthritis Cardiovascular problems Sports related injuries - tendonitis, cramps, stiffness Gynecological problems Sensitive and fibrous breasts Nervous disorders Insomnia Depression
As with all treatments, it’s best to let your therapist know if you are pregnant or suffering from illness or injury – they will be able to advise on whether this treatment is suitable for you.
