For some, seeing in a new season means catching up on hair cuts. Ticking \u2018trim\u2019 off the life admin list, <\/span>or <\/span><\/i>indulging in a little salon time<\/a> (because we\u2019ve stuck out this \u2018winter\u2019 thing for quite long enough), could mean trying something new. And shoulder-length hair, my looking-for-inspiration friends, is the cut you should try. <\/span><\/p>\n

It inspires flashbacks of the \u2018growing out\u2019 phase we all endured after mum\u2019s insistence of having a bob throughout our childhood (ahead of her time on the trends it would seem). It\u2019s not so short that \u2018transformation\u2019 springs to mind, but it\u2019s a definite shift from longer locks, <\/span>and <\/span><\/i>combines that cool blunt-ends vibe we talked about at <\/span>length <\/span><\/i>not so long ago. <\/span><\/p>\n

Whether your natural hair texture is curled or straight, the just-touching-shoulders length of this cut will carry it, <\/span>and <\/span><\/i>it\u2019s just long enough to slick back into a low bun for practicality. And because it looks really, really good. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve just invested in an oversized hair clip (haven\u2019t we all), slide it to the side, or layer a few \u2013 <\/span>evidence how great that looks right here<\/span><\/a>. This is my Monday morning hairstyle. <\/span><\/p>\n

So, if you\u2019re ready to embrace shoulder-length then a) I credit myself for convincing you, and b) here\u2019s some inspiration to take-with to the salon. <\/span><\/p>\n
