I\u2019m going to call it and say I\u2019ve tried pretty much every facial treatment going. Largely because I\u2019m curious, but also, it\u2019s good to be able to offer advice to friends on what to try based on their skin concerns (once \u2018less ros\u00e9\u2019 has been ruled out). Next up, we\u2019re talking radiofrequency<\/a> \u2013 the facial that uses heat and light to target the skin. The goal? To steer clear of botox and fillers, but still get that tighter, fresher looking skin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A radiofrequency (RF) facial uses heat and light energy to target deeper layers of the skin, helping to achieve a tighter and fresher appearance. During the treatment, a conducting gel is applied and a wand emits RF waves, sculpting and lifting areas like the cheekbones, jaw and lips.<\/div>\n

You may feel intense heat and firm pressure during a radiofrequency facial, but there is no pain. Temperatures are closely monitored for safety, and the sensation is often compared to being at the dentist rather than a relaxing spa facial.<\/div>\n
