The #PicassoNails hashtag is growing on Instagram, and it\u2019s caught my attention. A neutral manicure veteran, why is my eye wandering to the world of nail art? Because <\/span>this <\/span><\/i>is the trend us minimalists have been waiting for. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re trying it at home, use a cotton bud, or the thin end of a paintbrush to create your Picasso-inspired design. With abstract lines and curving shapes, it\u2019s a tough one to mess up (great news). Of course, if you\u2019d like your manicure to last longer, make it gel, and ask a <\/span>real <\/span><\/i>artist \u2013 nail artist \u2013 to do the work for you. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sure, you can add a colour, go hard on the glitter, or layer up designs, but I\u2019ll be sticking with a neutral base and creating my design with black polish (read: I\u2019m lying, I\u2019ll be heading to the nail salon<\/a>).
