Raise your hand if you\u2019re a sucker for a neutral nail. I head to the salon<\/a> with dreams of red and coral, and leave looking down at my 50-shades-of-beige fingertips. But with spring finally here, I\u2019ll be going all in on geometric nail art. The trend invaded our Insta feeds a few years ago and has proved just as popular on the catwalk since, so it\u2019s time we swatted up on the geometric trend (because that\u2019s my kind of mathematics).<\/p>\n

A dream for the minimalists, with clean lines, and pared-back colours, the trend adds a subtle spin to pastel-toned nails. If bold and bright is your manicure mantra, roll with contrast shapes and statement shades: think spring with zesty brights, or go primary, with red and blue in asymmetric patterns.<\/p>\n

Short-nails? No problem. If you\u2019re a nervous biter, or just can\u2019t get \u2018em growing, add some interest with colour and print (nail art looks cute on trim tips, anyway.). If you <\/span>do<\/span><\/i> want the illusion of longer-looking nails, opt for shades that suit your skin tone, and make your mani <\/span>gel<\/span> to help them grow. <\/span><\/p>\n
