Very experienced and bespoke treatment

I had a spray tan booked for a friend’s wedding. This was booked well in advance via Treatwell for 5.45pm. When I arrived, I was informed that the appointment time was 5.40pm as the salon closed at 6pm and I had therefore missed my appointment. This was despite having had a Treatwell confirmation of the 5.45pm time the day before. The staff told me that there was no one able to stay and that I could rebook, which I chose not to do as I had to leave for the wedding early the next day. I’m so disappointed in this! I would recommend that the salon stop advertising on Treatwell if they can’t honour the appointments, or at least call customers who’ve booked via Treatwell to alter the appointment time if they wish to rather than gamble on customers psychically guessing the correct appointment time.

The atmosphere and massage were incredible! The lady who did my massage was very welcoming and had a lovely manner. The actual decor and facilities need a bit of a spruce up however, some handles were missing off cupboards and there was a shower in the room I was in with the shower door hanging off. Doesn’t represent the high standard that you would expect from Champneys. Other than that, the treatment was amazing and I would go back for another one!
