I am a waxing specialist who offers full body waxing and specialises in intimate waxing from my Salon in Yaxley, Peterborough. I use only hot wax for intimate waxing as it is more effective at removing the thick stubborn hairs that grow in that area and also it's a lot less painful than strip wax. Strip wax is when a thin layer of the wax is applied and taken off with a strip; hot wax has a melted candle wax consistency and is applied thickly onto the hair, left to set for a few seconds and then removed. Strip wax is ideal for large areas, such as legs, arms, chest and backs but it is not as ideal for delicate areas such as eyebrows and intimate areas as the wax strip pulls on the skin and causes discomfort and bruising.
