Booked an acupuncture treatment about a week ago as I have had quite severe back pain, I received confirmation emails and texts prior to my visit on Saturday morning (10am), I turned up at approx 9:50 to find the shop door locked, no lights on, etc. I waited for 15mins as I thought I was perhaps a bit early. I then phoned the contact number on the confirmation text, I was told that the shop was closed due to a “meeting” and was not offered any sort of solution or reason why I was not contacted to rearrange. The person on phone was very unsympathetic and quite rude.

Hello and welcome to the Sun Hie Chinese Acupuncture & Healthy Living Centre in Whitley Bay. Here at the Sun Hie centre we provide a wide variety of Traditional Chinese medical services for a wide range of ailments, including; acupuncture, acupressure, Chinese herbal remedies, and reflexology.

Our North East Acupuncture Clinic is ideally placed within 2 minutes' walk from the Whitley Bay Metro station, this means that we can treat people from all over the North East.

Our Lead practitioner Dr Yu graduated from Hei Long Jiang Traditional Chinese Medicine University in 1986. She is a highly experienced doctor trained in both Western and Chinese medicine.
