Will is the man behind the name. Beginning his career in 2010 at Nicky Clarke in Leeds and spending time at Mary Ann Weeks in Guildford where he developed a love for Aveda, Will is truly passionate about all things hair. Realising the north is where itâs at, he moved back from Guildford in 2015 to open William David Hair and since then the business has developed more than he could ever have imagined. He is excited to move to a bigger space and potentially expand even further in the future. In his spare time youâll spot him with a craft beer in hand hanging out by the BBQ (when the British weather allows).

Shauna is one of our Stylists, beginning her apprenticeship in September 2018 and qualifying in July 2021. She has a flair for Balayages and gets a buzz out of seeing clients satisfied. Grace began working with us in April 2016 bringing with her 4 years of experience from a different Aveda salon. Since the, she has progressed to become one of our Stylists and our Salon Manager. With a first class degree from York College in Media Makeup, Special Effects and Hair Design, Grace contributes a wealth of knowledge in all areas. Graces number one favourite thing to do is blonde her clients right up, but she also enjoys working the client to develop different tones using the whole Aveda range. When sheâs not busy booking your appointments, styling your hair or running our social media, youâll find Grace curled up at hone in a onesie with her favourite crispy prawns in OK sauce from the Chinese takeaway. Katie is our resident nail & lash technician, fully trained in gel polish and a range of manicure services and lash lifts. With a passion for quality and style, she uses solely halo products, which are completely vegan. Katie most enjoys creating fabulous nails with a range of colours for her clients and is always down to try something new. When sheâs not glamming your nails and lifting your lashes, youâll find her on days out with her daughter.

Our Senior Stylist Mel started out with a career in management but soon discovered a love for the hair industry and now has over 12 years of experience. After owning her own Aveda salon for 7 years Mel joined the William David crew and now conducts all colour training with junior members of the team. With the skills for big colours and a willingness to guide unsure clients into a total transformation, sheâs a vital member of the team. When sheâs not putting in the hours at WD youâll find Mel up and down the country taking her daughters Alexia and Willow to high level dance competitions or in a beer garden somewhere sunny.

The most recent addition to our Stylist team, Chloe joins us with a range of experience. With a level 2 qualification from Bradford College and a level 3 qualification from Saks alongside the ability to execute micro ring and tape extensions to perfection, she is a wonderful addition to the team. Always smiling and with a passion for balayage and colour correction Chloe ensures her clients leave feeling fab whenever they visit the salon. In her spare time Chloe loves spending time with her dogs going on various adventures.
