Hi it was over crowded there was a conflict information about when to arrive my email from Champneys said 10am and your site said 9 am so I booked a massage for 10.30 when I phoned them. so when I arrived to be told my massage was 10am all a bit stressful for a supposedly relaxing day . The sauna didn’t work steam room was far to small only accommodated two couples at a time. massages was okay and manicures not value for money. My whole experience was very disappointing as I paid out £426 I would value it at £200 maximum. Regards Clifford Harrison

Overall great experience and I would return! Food was delicious at breakfast and lunch - healthy but hearty. It was unfortunate that the plunge pool was out of action and both whirlpools were luke warm. The outdoor pool was out of action despite website saying open throughout September. There is general wear and tear that could be addressed to keep this venue top notch.

Forestmere is like a production line lots of queuing from treatments to meals, al classes and meals have to be rebooked which added to the production line experience, you do not expect this from a spa when you are there to relax. I had telephone queries and was irritated to be told I was in a queue costing 7p a minute, I never did get through. People walked into the yoga studios wearing outdoor shoes, even walking all over the mats. The food was good, although there was extra cost for a lot of things on the menu, main resteraunt lacked atmosphere, Mere restaurant was lovely. Classes were good, talks excellent, massage weak with no aromatherapy oils, facial excellent - no relaxation room, just turfed out when you wanted to chill for a while. You had a feeling that all the staff were junior, management was not apparent

Wonderful relaxing weekend. Loved spending the day choosing what facilities I would use next to relax in! Lunch and breakfast are very filling and the dinner is very light. I had a massage but would recommended requesting an experienced therapist as there are a lot of new trainees who may not be quite as good as the older serving therapists.

Wonderful day with fabulous treatments. Water in pools a little cold but it has a lovely calm environment with friendly, helpful staff. A perfect spa day.
